If color matching is important to you, indicate specific PMS Colors to match and or request a color sample before final production.

we will substitute SIMILAR postscript fonts (additional charge may apply)

Resolution (bitmap)

All BITMAP FILES

HighRes: Photoshop & TIFF, Scanned images, Photos, Jpeg, etc. should be CMYK and at aprox.75 (60-100) dpi at final size. (see note below)
Ultra-High Res: Double above DPI requirements
BillboardRes: Images should be CMYK and at aprox. 40 (20-60) dpi at final size
For instance HighRes example: if an image is in a layout which is to be output (page setup) at 400%, ( ie, a 9" x 12" to be printed at 36" x 48") of the original, the resolution of the image must be 300 dpi! (ie, 400% (4x) of 75dpi = 300dpi.)

A 75dpi CMYK FILE has 75dpi of info for each C.M.Y.K this makes a 300 DPI PRINTER FILE

The CMYK story

  We use a CMYK printing process. When it comes to color matches, we do very well, but matches are not always perfect. We can often match colors better than the four color PMS equivalent noted by Pantone® in their swatchbooks. We do better color matching than photography and can always correct any single color without affecting others. Due to the inherent differences in software and production methods DIGITAL GRAPHICS will vary slightly in color. If color matching is important to you, indicate specific PMS Colors to match or request a color sample before final production. Quality of finished images depends on quality of originals supplied (ie, poor quality photos and scans will result in less than ideal output.)
